The Barra MacNeils

Music is in the blood”  a comment that would be most fitting for this group!  For over three decades, this Cape Breton-based family group the has been thrilling audiences of all over the world with dynamic performaces featuring amazing vocals, stunning musicianship and a genuine warmth that engages all ages.

No stranger to Glengarry, we welcome these Celtic music ambassadors back to Tattoo stage to celebrate with us our 75th milestone.

It’s going to be a good one!

 

Gleadhraich

Gleadhraich are a bagpipe rock band formed in Carnoustie, Angus in 2010 while students at school. The band has released five EPs to date: Pipe Dreams, Where We’re From, Definition and Rewritten, with the most recent release of Sunlight in 2023. The band has performed at events and festivals around the world which has seen them headlining the likes of NYC Tartan Week and Barbados Celtic Festival. Gleadhraich were awarded with the title of Cultural Ambassadors for Angus in 2013 before being awarded the title of Best Celtic Music Act at the 2018 Infinitime Music Awards. The band has appeared on prestigious festival line ups around the UK and Europe as well as at various high profile events including Scotland vs England Six Nations match at Murrayfield and at the British Chamber of Commerce Lithuania Burns Supper. Gleadhraich are hugely excited to be making their Canadian debut this summer!

 

Hadrian’s Wall

A Celtic ceilidh band from Glengarry, Canada with decades of recording and performances for audiences across North America, this seasoned group has the art of delivering a great time!

The music of Hadrian’s Wall borrows elements of Scottish and Irish tradition, and blends these with their own influences of Folk and Canadiana. Together, they foster an awesome sound that keeps the toes a tappin’ and the spirits soaring.

 

RCAF Pipes & Drums

Did you know 2024 marks not only the 75th edition of the Glengarry Highland Games but also the100th anniversary of the RCAF and the 75th anniversary of the RCAF Pipes and Drums?

Well, we did and now the celebrations will be all the greater! Looking forward to it!

 

The MacCulloch Dancers

As sure as the granite foundations upon which Canada’s history was built, like wise the MacCulloch dancers have been underpinning Glengarry county and our Tattoo in the art of dance for generations. The energy, the joy, and smiles drive every performance!

 

Massed Bands

“By the centre, quick march!”

Nothing gets the blood stirring like the “skirl of the Pipes!” . Wave after wave, the colour, the sound and the pageantry of the Pipers & Drummers will leave you feeling breathless … and very Scottish!

 

Massed Highland Fling

Stamina, strength, grace and beauty ... with each intricate step and sway of the kilt Traditions lives on!

 

Skydivers

A crowd favourite for over 20 years, weather-permitting, skydivers proudly deliver the flags of Scotland, the United States, and Canada directly to the centre of the infield while our vocalists perform the national anthems. It is a thrilling scene to witness!

Drone show and fireworks
